Rrb Group D Recruitment 2024 Online Form
Indian Railways has announced recruitment of a large number of Group D posts. According to the official notification of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), more than 2 lakh 80 thousand posts will be recruited in various railway zones.
Rrb Group D Recruitment Application Process:
Online Application: All interested candidates have to apply through the online portal of Railway Recruitment Board. Indian Railways, one of the largest employers in the country, has planned to recruit a large number of Group D posts. More than 2 lakh 80 thousand vacancies will be filled in this. This opportunity is golden for the youth who want to make their career in railways.
Rrb Group D Recruitment Application Fee:
- ₹500 for General, OBC, ESM, and Transgender candidates
- ₹250 for SC, ST, PWD, and Ex-Servicemen
Important Dates:
- Start of online application: 01 June 2024
- Last date of application: 31 July 2024
- CBT exam date: To be announced soon
Rrb Group D Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant must have passed 10th from a recognized board. Earlier, only 10th pass or ITI certificate holders could apply. But now, 8th pass candidates can also apply for some posts. The age limit should be between 18 to 35 years. Educational qualification and age limit may vary for some posts. The age limit has been changed. Now, the maximum age is 35 years for the unreserved category and 38 years for SC/ST/EW category.
Rrb Group D Recruitment Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected through Computer Based Test (CBT). The CBT will have questions related to general knowledge, mathematics, reasoning, and general intelligence. Candidates who pass the CBT will be called for medical test and document verification. The exam will now be in the form of Computer Based Test (CBT). Earlier it was conducted in offline (pen-paper) mode.
Rrb Group D Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will get salary ranging from ₹19,200 to ₹63,200 per month. The salary may vary as per the post and work location. Now normalization of marks will not be done. Candidates from every region and category will get equal opportunity. Now the merit list will be prepared on the basis of maximum 80 marks. Earlier it was up to 100 marks.
